A city of private houses

Unlike Tel Aviv, most bookings in Rishon LeZion come from private houses and garden flats. That changes almost everything: there is a yard, there is space, there are no neighbours through a shared wall, and a long show can run without anyone watching the clock. Bachelor parties here tend to be bigger, and fifteen to twenty-five people is standard rather than unusual.

The most booked format in this city is the duo. Two dancers hold a large group better than one, and the cost per guest works out sensibly. Above twenty people we suggest the VIP package with three.

The distance works in your favour

Thirty-five to fifty minutes sounds like a lot, and in practice it means you are not booking at two in the morning on impulse. You are planning. And when there is a plan, you can pick a specific dancer from the gallery, agree a costume and set a precise schedule. Our best evenings are exactly those.

What the distance does demand is an hour that does not move. The dancer leaves long before, and a last-minute change catches her mid-motorway. If plans shift, write straight away. Fifteen minutes is nothing; an hour depends on what else is booked that night.

Yard, garden and terrace

The city’s biggest advantage is also where most of the mistakes happen. Three notes from experience.

Surface. Grass does not work, and heels on paving only work when it is completely dry. On a summer night the stone sweats, so the show stays on a covered terrace or indoors, and the yard is where everyone moves afterwards.

Lighting. A white yard floodlight is the same problem as a ceiling light, only outdoors. Warm bulbs strung overhead, low lanterns, even candles change the evening completely, and most houses here already have them.

Neighbours. In a street of low houses the neighbour actually hears more than in a block of flats, because the sound goes out into the yard instead of being absorbed by walls. Moderate volume and a closed window solve it, especially after midnight.

Cabins and venues around the city

There is a heavy concentration of holiday cabins and small venues around Rishon that get used for weekend bachelor parties, and we cover those too. The one thing that matters is an exact location with a landmark, because some of these places are poorly mapped and hunting for a gate in the dark costs twenty minutes of your evening.

Neighbourhoods

The city is large and not uniform, and from our side that mostly affects arrival time.

Neot Shikma, Kiryat Rishon and the newer western neighbourhoods have plenty of garden flats and private houses, with clear addresses. In the old town and Nahalat Yehuda the streets are narrower and some houses sit behind a courtyard, so a landmark helps. The eastern side is closer to the main road and arrival times there sit at the lower end of the range.

What people book here
