Go-go in Tel Aviv
High energy, rhythmic, no lulls. Born in clubs and at pool parties, so it works with a large group already on its feet rather than five people on a sofa.
A go-go set: what it actually is
Go-go is continuous dancing with no single dramatic peak. There is no opening that builds towards something and no ending that releases it. There is a steady tempo that starts and does not drop, and movement that carries on even when nobody is looking at that exact second.
That sounds like a weakness and it is in fact the point of the style. You can step into watching and out of it again, keep eating, keep pouring, keep talking, then look back. Nothing is missed, because there is no one moment you are not allowed to miss.
This is what separates it from the rest. Burlesque has a peak the whole act is built towards, lap dance has one person everything is aimed at, and fashion has a line you need the right angle on. Go-go has none of those, which makes it the only style that works as a background.
The only style that splits into several appearances
Every other style we run is one set in one go. Go-go can be spread across an evening.
The format that works best is three appearances of twelve to fifteen minutes, half an hour apart, instead of one long number. Each one has a different outfit and different music, so the group gets three high points rather than one.
It changes the shape of the evening completely. Instead of getting ready, watching and going back to normal, the party simply runs with something happening inside it. If you are booking a large birthday or a company event that runs four hours, ask for this layout in advance, because it is not the default.
The cost does not change: the rate follows the time on site and the format, not the number of appearances.
Why go-go is the style we suggest booking as a pair
In other styles a second dancer is a choice about atmosphere. Here it is sometimes a technical one.
Forty minutes of continuous movement with no drop in tempo is hard physical work, and in an Israeli summer it is twice as hard. Two dancers taking turns hold the same level of energy the whole way through, instead of a curve that sags after twenty minutes and only partly recovers.
With us the style belongs to Maya Breeze and Karina Voronskaya, who work together more often than any other pairing in the catalogue. If your evening is long or there are more than twenty people, that is our first recommendation.
Pool parties: three things to sort out first
The style was born in clubs and at pool parties, and half of its bookings come from houses with a pool in Herzliya, Raanana and Kfar Saba. That is its natural home, but three things are worth arranging before we arrive.
The first is the floor. Wet tile beside a pool is the most dangerous surface there is, and heels on it are out of the question. What is needed is a dry area to one side, not right at the water, and preferably shaded.
The second is light. Many pools are lit from inside the water upwards, which lights a face from below in a way that flatters nobody. One or two lamps at eye level solve it.
The third is timing. At a pool party half the guests are in the water and half are out, and the set loses half its audience. Better to schedule an appearance when everyone is on dry land, around the food for instance.
Music: tempo rather than bass
A club set needs real bass or there is no show. Go-go asks for something different: the music must not stop.
A playlist with two seconds of silence between tracks breaks the continuity, and the continuity is the whole thing. A long mix, an electronic radio stream or simply a queue with no gaps does the job, and a mid-sized speaker is enough.
It is also the one style where the guests' own playlist works. If the group has music it likes, the dancer will work to it, because nothing here is choreographed to a particular track.
Which kind of group it suits
Go-go wants movement in the room. A group already standing, pouring drinks and talking loudly gets exactly what it needs, and this is the style we suggest first for a bachelor party that started early or an evening on a large roof terrace in Florentin.
Five people sitting on a sofa will get the least out of it. In that setting continuous dancing turns into something watched in silence, which is precisely what the style is not built for. There lap dance or burlesque will give you far more.
What is worn and what you need at home
The look is minimal rather than a character: shorts or a bodysuit, tall boots or platforms, sometimes mesh. No stage props and no costume that needs explaining.
What we need from you: a dry, hard surface at least two metres by two, somewhere to change between appearances, and cold water. In summer, if the set is outdoors, a fan aimed at the dancing area improves the show more than anything else you could do.
If the evening is at a cabin with a pool or a private house with a garden, send us the time and the headcount and we will suggest a layout of appearances that fits.

What people ask Go-go
Both are high energy, but a club set is one number with a peak aimed at the whole room, and go-go is continuous dancing with no peak. You can watch, stop and come back, which makes it the only style that works as a background to a party.
Yes, and that is the format we recommend. Three appearances of twelve to fifteen minutes, half an hour apart, work better than one long number. Ask for it in advance, it is not the default.
Because forty minutes of continuous movement with no drop in tempo is hard physical work, especially in summer. Two dancers taking turns keep the energy level flat across the whole evening.
It is the style's natural home, but you need a dry area to one side rather than wet tile, and light at eye level rather than only from inside the water. It also helps to time an appearance for when everyone is out of the pool.
Music that does not stop. A continuous mix with no silence between tracks; a mid-sized speaker is enough. Real bass is not required here, unlike a club set.
Then this is not the style. Continuous dancing with no peak in front of five seated people turns into silent watching. Lap dance or burlesque will give you much more in that setting.
By format and time on site, not by the number of appearances: 800 ILS solo, 1,400 duo, 2,200 VIP, travel, costume and music included. Cash at the end.

What else they do
A built performance with an entrance, a peak and an ending. The reveal is the punchline rather than the content.
High energy with tempo and a crowd. It suits big groups who want something to happen rather than to watch quietly.
An entrance in character before anyone works out what is happening. The strongest style for a surprise.
Belly dance and eastern movement. It plays well to a mixed room and to events with character.
A clean line, movement close to dance, nothing crude. The one style you can put in front of a mixed group.
Leather, latex and a harness. An aesthetic rather than a session: a character, a costume and an atmosphere.
The most intimate format. The dancer works centimetres away, with no stage and no distance.
Salsa and bachata at high energy. Plenty of interaction with the room, not only the guest of honour.
A slow set from an experienced dancer. Less acrobatics, more control of the room and the tempo.
A fifties aesthetic: retro, playful and never crude. It suits events that want light rather than heavy.
Pole work: strength, long lines and slow descents. It needs a pole or a high ceiling.
An outdoor set on a deck or beside a pool. Movement adapted to a surface that moves, daylight instead of dark.
