Said plainly: where bookings here come from

Bnei Brak is the exception on this site, and there is no point pretending otherwise. Almost everything we do in this city comes from the office strip on its western edge, on the border with Ramat Gan. The residential neighbourhoods are not where our work comes from, and we are not going to write a page that implies they are.

So this page is built the opposite way round from every other city page here: almost all of it is about office towers, meeting rooms and getting in after working hours, and almost none of it is about living rooms and neighbours. If you are looking to book to a flat, your address most likely belongs to Ramat Gan or Petah Tikva, where the conditions are entirely different.

The office towers on the border

The strip along Jabotinsky and Ben Gurion is one of the largest office concentrations in the Tel Aviv metro area, and it runs straight into the Diamond Exchange district of Ramat Gan. In practice it is one place: one tower belongs to Bnei Brak, the tower opposite belongs to Ramat Gan, and sometimes the people working in them are not sure which.

What that means for you: for any address in this strip our arrival time is the same either way, thirty to forty minutes. Give us a street and a tower name and do not worry about which municipality it sits in.

The spaces themselves suit a show well. Large meeting rooms, open work areas that can be cleared, high ceilings and lighting that can be partly switched off. What there is not is a neighbour through the wall, which removes the constraint that shapes every other page on this site.

Getting in after hours

This is the part that needs arranging, and the only part that genuinely differs from an ordinary booking.

The security desk. Most towers in the strip have someone at the entrance, and after seven in the evening they log who comes in. The simple answer is that one of you comes down and walks her in. She arrives in ordinary business-casual street clothes and looks like any other visitor; the costume goes on inside.

Lift access cards. Some towers lock the lifts after hours and require a badge. Without one she will not get up, even having cleared the lobby. Check this in advance — it is the single thing that most often catches people out.

Underground parking. If you have access to it, this is the cleanest route: she steps out of the car in the car park and goes up without passing the lobby at all. You need a gate code or someone to come down and open it.

Which days work here, and which do not

Worth spelling out for anyone not used to the Israeli working week. The week runs Sunday to Thursday. The office strip empties on Thursday afternoon, and on Friday and Saturday it is completely quiet.

So the real window here is Sunday to Wednesday evening, between seven and half past ten. That is the reverse of every other city on this site, where the weekend is the busy time. If your plan falls on a weekend the event probably needs to move somewhere else, and we will say so upfront rather than selling you an hour that will not work.

A single-company floor against a shared workspace

A difference that looks technical and changes everything.

A floor occupied by one company. The simplest case. Close the floor, clear an area, done. No strangers and nobody walking through the corridor halfway.

A shared workspace. This needs thought. Even at ten in the evening there are people from other companies working late, and a meeting room with glass walls is not a closed room. If that is your situation, check whether a room with solid walls is available; if not, the evening is better held elsewhere.

The rest of the preparation is the same as any company event: a clear area about two metres by two, seating in a loose half circle, and music through the venue’s system rather than a phone speaker.

What a show for colleagues looks like

It is not the same show people book for a living room, and the difference matters.

An audience of colleagues is a mixed group who will still be working together tomorrow morning, so the set is built with no work directed at a named individual, nobody seated in the middle of the room, and no interaction anyone did not choose. The styles that fit are burlesque and fashion erotica, both of which are built as a performance to a room rather than contact with a viewer.

One thing worth reading first: the company event page has an honest section on when this is not a good idea — hierarchy in the room, staff who were not told in advance, an event that is too formal for it. Better read before than after.

What we do not do here

Short and direct. We have no hotel bookings in this city, because there is no hotel strip. There are no bachelor parties in flats here and we will not offer you one. There are no shows in yards or gardens.

All of those exist very close by: Ramat Gan is minutes away and central Tel Aviv a quarter of an hour. The hotel and private flat formats each have their own page.

Arrival and price

Arrival to the office strip takes thirty to forty minutes, which is fast for the distance because it sits right on the Ayalon. Rush hour on Jabotinsky stretches it; after eight in the evening it runs clear.

For a company event it is worth arranging a few days ahead — not for availability but because there is paperwork with the building. Send us the address, the floor, the hour and the headcount.
